The F1 Planet Team So far…
James is an up and coming F1 journalist. English has always been his favourite subject at school, especially creative writing, and he loved the appeal of the ability that was at his finger tips to write his thoughts about F1 races. He’s had contact with F1 Racing, Autosport and Classic Car magazine where some letters have been published. James ultimate ambition is to work for a specialist magazine like Autosport or F1 racing.
We’re pleased to have him as part of out F1 Planet team

“Sam is a student, at the moment, who would love to become a Journalist at somepoint in the future. Currently studying for his A Levels, with a view to going into the Media, Sam will be offering our site a Youthful point of view on the world of Formula 1. Enticed into the sport ever since Murray Walker said those immortal words “I think Im going to stop…. I have a lump in my throat”, Sam is a diehard Brit and would love it if Lewis Hamilton won the WDC. Considering the fact he goes to college in Woking, Sam is obviously a McLaren fan.”
Andy has been a fan of F1 for over 40 years and his first memory, from 1967, is of a TV report about Graham Hill driving a Lotus 49 at Monaco.
Though he isnt’t a journalist, he spent 30 years as a police officer and did write a few reports so we hope he will be able to make some contributions to F1 Planet. Andy says “I don’t have an inside line on anything and I don’t expect you to agree with all of my observations but the good thing is you get to disagree and make your own comments. Just for the record I have followed McLaren over the years and love having two British drivers in a great team.”
